After the now-famous terrible first trailer for Sonic, it seems to have redeemed itself with a new design and updated trailer. Does this movie finally break the streak of bad video game movies? I thought so!

A Year In Film: 2019
2019 was an amazing year for film! Here are my top picks from this year.
Jumanji: The Next Level
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was a surprise hit when it released in 2017, were they able to capture lightning in a bottle a second time? Not really, but they didn't drop the bottle either.
Frozen II
It's been six years since the world had "Let It Go" drilled into our brains, but now that it's target audience has aged up and moved on, was it to late for a sequel or did it stick the landing?
Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw
As the summer of 2019 comes to a close, Universal releases the first spin-off film from their most successful franchise! Does it lead out the summer with a bang, or did it get caught with flat tires?
The Lion King (2019)
The Lion King (1994) is my favorite animated film of all time, and is placed in my top 10 films of all time. Does the photo-realistic remake capture the magic that the original shocked audiences with 25 years ago? I didn't particularly think so, and here's why...
Spider-Man: Far From Home
After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker just wants to take a break and enjoy his summer vacation with his class, but is that even an option when you're a superhero? Spider-Man: Far From Home is comparable to Iron Man 3 in regards in heavy character development and it takes place right after a monumental step in the MCU. The only difference between the two films, is this one was really good!
Toy Story 4
Toy Story is one of those franchises I've been watching my entire life, with Toy Story 2 was the first movie I can remember seeing in a movie theater. I was extremely skeptical when they announced this film. I thought that they had wrapped up the franchise perfectly with Toy Story 3, and was afraid that they might be pushing their luck or take away from that ending by making one more film. Did Pixar add a third film to my list of disappointments?
MIB: International
We now enter the fourth installment in the franchise with Men in Black: International. Introducing us to the London branch of the secret agency, we follow the Thor: Ragnarok duo (Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson) as they uncover a mysterious plot in unfolding Europe.
