Jaws (1975)
The first ever true blockbuster, Jaws redefined the movie industry and truly made people afraid of the water. Through several production and budget issues, Jaws became iconic in such a way never before seen, and also one of my favorite films ever made.
The Invisible Man (2020)
The Invisible Man (1933) is one of my favorite Universal Classic Monster films and I've seen it multiple times. When I heard there was going to be another reboot by Universal Pictures and Blumhouse, I was cautiously optimistic, but was not disappointed.

I’m going to try to … Continue reading The MEG
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Owen As spoiler-free as I can make this, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom I think has one of the strongest opening scenes in the entire franchise, the way it was shot and the pacing mixed with the soundtrack put me on the edge … Continue reading Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
The Mummy (2017)
"Welcome to a new age of gods and monsters."Dr. Henry Jekyll The Mummy launches the "Dark Universe" that Universal is trying to set up. A cinematic universe (like the MCU) connecting all of the classic monsters like Frankenstein, Dracula, Creature from the Black Lagoon, and the Invisible Man. With Bride of Frankenstein being the next … Continue reading The Mummy (2017)
